The first time you use the Mtext Editor ('ddedit') and insert a fraction you are presented with the Autostack Properties dialog box. Once you set the properties you probably checked the 'Don't show this dialog again' box so it would not pop up each time you entered a fraction. Well, if you want to make changes to how AutoCAD handles your AutoStack Properties, it is a bit tricky getting back to the dialog. Here, then, is a step-by-step presentation.

The first thing to do is execute the 'ddedit' command and select an Mtext entity to display the Mtext Editor window. No matter the contents of the Mtext entity, highlight and delete it and type in a fraction to invoke AutoStacking:

Now, if you highlight the entire contents and right-click you'll get a menu:

But if you highlight ONLY the numerical portion and  right-click you'll get a different menu:

Now click on 'Properties':

And you'll be presented with the 'Stack Properties' Dialog::

In the 'Appearance' section you set the basic properties for AutoStack. They are self-explanatory and you should note that 'Text Size' should roughly match the 'Fraction height scale' of your dimension style('_ddim->Modify->Text->Fraction height scale').

Now, if you click the 'AutoStack' button you'll be presented with the 'AutoStack Properties' Dialog:

Here you can set a few more, self-explanatory, defaults. When you dismiss this dialog by clicking the 'Okay' button you'll go back to the 'Stack Properties' dialog.

If you've made changes, be sure to click the 'Defaults' button and save your changes:

Now back out of the dialogs and, if you changed an Mtext entity back when you started, be sure to change it back.
